Since our Grand Opening on February 1st, 1996, Meridian Underground Music has become an icon of Meridian, Mississippi. The idea of MUM was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of owner and manager, Wayne Williams. MUM started out as just 250 CDs from Wayne’s personal collection, and from those small beginnings, MUM was traded up and built into the establishment that is here today. We have never stopped building our brand, and to further it more, the idea of MUM Coffee was born.
